Cherritree works to acquire and distribute food in partnership with agencies serving people in need. We are a member of the America’s Second Harvest National Food Bank network, an agency of the United Way and Social Apostolate.

                          
Who we are

 

We make our world a better place to live.

 

Cherritree is a non-profit organization that collects and distributes food and clothes in San Francisco and San Mateo counties. Although we primarily operate in Filipino communities, our distribution reaches the masses through our partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank network, an agency of the United Way and Social Apostolate.

 

Our long-term goal is to turn our passion for helping those in need into building Cherritree Community Development Centers thought-out the world. In addition to providing food and clothes, each center will feature education and technology training to help people get ahead.

 

What we want to do

 

Our mission is to serve individuals and families in the poorest communities in San Francisco and San Mateo counties.

 

* Strengthening capacity for self-help

* Providing food and clothes for those in need

* Delivering relief in case of emergencies

 

Guided by the aspirations of local communities, we pursue our mission with both excellence and compassion because the people whom we serve deserve nothing less.

 
DONATIONS

We collect all types of non-perishable food and then redistributed them to second Harvest Food Banks, churches, and senior centers who directly fill the need.

 

**We also collect all types of wearable clothing including jackets, scarves and gloves.
